Logo and leather

The logo was ready at the local sign shop on Thursday.

So this weekend, we decided to put it on.

The shadowing came in two decals.  The black background was installed first, followed by the white letters.

The last peel......

What do you think?  Ron had the enviable job of safety wiring the cabane turnbuckles.

 Close up.

The other evening  I had a free hour between trips, so I finished the leather straps for the cowling.  I started using a punch but ended up using a twist drill to make the rivet holes.

The rivet squeezer worked perfectly

Original and new.

The leather is held to the cowl with some clips.

Bent over a piece of 1/4 in plywood

Original and reproduction.
