Wing Strut Copper

After dinner, Brighton followed me to the garage to help copper the four remaining wing struts.

We started by wrapping poster board around the struts and marking the fitting outline. I used an original strut to get the distance correct.

Then the patterns were cut out and transferred to the 10 ox. copper.

And nailed in place.

Here is a completed end.

One evening's work - eight coppered ends = four finished struts.
